São José dos Campos Brazil; about an hour’s drive northeast of São Paulo or a 4-hour drive southwest of Rio de Janeiro, is home to the “2015 Brazil Aerospace Event,” an annual matchmaking event dedicated to Brazil’s Aerospace supply chain. The globally recognized aircraft manufacturer – Embraer, also calls this city home.
Ana Fontes, Exe VP of BSI attended the Aerospace event, which took place in early December. She met with several Brazilian organization leaders and companies interested in expanding into world markets. In addition, she connected with CARAE – Aeronautical and Aerospace Chamber of Commerce of Argentina and discussed airport expansion, joint venture investments, and business opportunities.
This international business convention is a unique opportunity for global aerospace supply chain participants to meet and connect through tailored one-to-one meetings.
This 4-day event draws 1000s of aviation enthusiasts from around the world every January. In spite of the poor weather and disappointing turnout, Ana met with several business owners and made new connections.
The highlight of the show was her visit to the new US facility of the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer, Paradise Aircraft, located in one of the hangars of the Sebring airport. Ana met with Mr. Noé Oliveira, president and owner, and Rogério Azambuja, International Business Developer.
